some notes on the discussion at the last NewAthena Coordination Group meeting. You should be able to edit it. 

Please, have a look at it and make comments, suggestions, corrections... In particular, look for xxx, with which I have flagged the bits I did not get (of course, I could not mark the ones I got wrong ;-) ). 

More importantly, after some discussion with Matteo I have uploaded to this link

the draft message to be circulated together with the AO for membership at the end of January (next week). Please, make any suggestions and comments by the end of this week (Friday 24 January). 

Important points to consider: 


    * Final names of the WG: we hope we have put together the results of the discussion 
    * Matteo proposes that the short descriptions (5 sentence max.) of the WGs are written by: 
    * Cosmology and Fundamental physics : Aird 
    * 
    * 
        * Large-scale structure : Eckert 
        * Galaxies and supermassive black holes : Brenneman 
        * Stars and planetary systems : Costantini 
        * Compact objects : Rea 
        * Transients and multimessenger : Troja 
        * Science Support: Pratt 
    * Each WG shall have no more than 3 Chairs. The document must be updated to reflect that 
    * Each WG shall include a “NASST liaison” (different from the Chairs). The document must be updated to reflect that 
    * Membership shall last 3 years, but it can be silently renewed.
